Open a namespace
Two steps: get the .eth name if you do not already have it, then open it up. Which subnames go on the market is chosen afterwards, on the name’s own page.
What a holder pays you, continuously, on the price they set. Same rate for every subname — a more valuable one is priced higher by its own holder and pays more at the same rate.
Nobody can be outbid for 24 hours after taking a space, so what a holder pays for is actually theirs.
Open the namespace
One transaction: it deploys your subname registry, gives the namespace the two roles it needs, and points it at the resolver.
If you already own your name.eth
Buying it above points it at the registry for you. A name you already hold needs one call of your own, on ENS’s registry, from whichever address owns it:
